This could be a very essential tool for DVR purposes. I think the biggest improvement would be to engineer it for multi wakeup events with a single screen to view all that are enabled. I don\'t like having an entry in the systray for each event.I would also like some info on how to get around the User Access Control in Vista. If the pc is rebooted, often it marks each entry & keeps it from running until I specifically enable it.

I think it is a great idea. Unfortunately not simple enough for my needs: a small non resident utility to remote boot a remote PC on demand.Good tool though.

Won`t work with printer I purchased Shut Down Expert for the "hibernates/awakens" feature. However, after the computer awakens my deskjet D1320 printer will not work. Prior to installing SDE, the printer worked fine. I must restart the computer for the printer to work after hibernation. SDE tech support says that it's the printer driver. HP printer support, after extensive trouble shooting, said to uninstall SDE, that the SDE software was the cause of the problem since the printer works fine without it installed. So, I'm left with the "shut down/restart" option if I continue to use SDE. I'm not a satisfied customer ...

NetworkActiv has been the ideal tool for my recent work. Its packet capturing and the ability to translate the packets into hex code has made my life alot easier. The filtering works well to. The only complaint I have is that the GUI is quite confusing and not very logical at all.

Awsome tool. Only problem is in the software it benn given as binary mode. This could simply given as hex mode, actually I'm saying this because I wasted some time on finding the hex mode. This may seem silly but it could happen to some other guy also. Then please include a free version. Then one more thing and it is enable the comparison of 3 or more files and provide option for saving the matched hex values especially in hex mode. compare of large binary files Nice, realy nice pice of software! For me great feature was possibility to compare two 600MB binary files, it was something that I couldn't do with couple other tools. I think my company will buy commercial version. One thing would be useful - I didn't find it - ,,go to line'' feature.

Looking for something I cannot find Thanks for the testing time. THe product itself works fine. Unfortunately at this time, this is not what we are looking for exactly. We are looking for something that visually compares word documents, excel spreadsheets and the such (binary files) visually and word for word from two revisions of a document being held in source control. Not likely that this exists but wanted to try what we can find. For now we will continue to use the track changes feature in Office.

Thank you for autoshutdown, but it did not perform well with Vista. Ultimately I found a small program call shutdown.exe (a windows item) it worked well functioned within batch files, and I was able to use it within task scheduler. Even though your autoshutdown did not work well for me it did put me on the right track. So thank you for your part in helping me solve my problem. Sy OlivenTucson, AZ
